Mountain Massage Wellness Center

Mountain Massage Wellness Center is a collaboration of holistic practitioners in Staunton, Virginia. We offer licensed massage therapy in multiple modalities, as well as health coaching, meditation classes, and educational workshops supporting naturopathic health modalities. MMWC is dedicated to supporting our community members on their own healing journeys in a safe environment.

How it all started-

I have always been passionate about whole body wellness. I believe true healing comes from a lifelong devotion to the reconnecting the mind, body, and spirit. I started my holistic career as a naturopathic health coach and reiki practitioner. I met Braden Swenson in 2023 as we were both training to get our massage therapy licenses. Afterwards, I had the wonderful opportunity to open my first massage business (Annaleese Samara Mountain Massage) inside of Center of Gravity Yoga & Pilates in Lexington in March 2023. Click here to go to Center of Gravity! Shortly after I opened the Wellness Center in Staunton on February 1st 2024, with the help of Cat Freeman. Our team continued to grow, adding more collaborators and ideas. In August 2025, Braden and I will be opening Mountain Massage Lexington, transitioning into a bigger Lexington location. I have fallen in love with massage therapy as a career and plan to continue growing my practice and splitting my time between Lexington and Staunton with Braden for the foreseeable future. We are both passionate about the benefits of therapeutic massage and would love to work with you!

"Hari om! I'm a certified Integral Hatha Yoga teacher and specialize in Ayurvedic lifestyle since 2021. My main goal is make everyone feel good through these powerful and ancient healing modalities, that has proven to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and overall bring about a state of balance. I was lucky enough to get my training through Yogaville, and all I want to do now is spread the love through yoga. I offer a variety of services, from ayurvedic suggestion, to deep relaxation/yoga nidra, meditation, and of course a complete hatha yoga practice on a private 1:1 or private group sessions here at Mountain Massage. I'm also available online via Zooom, to accommodate. I would love to be of service"
